SLA Mobile Powers Direct Operator Billing Launch in Zain Kuwait

SLA Mobile, Belfast based mobile solutions provider announces that Zain, the leading mobile telecommunications company in Kuwait, has launched “Zain Pay” in partnership with SLA Mobile to provide their customers with Direct Operator Billing capabilities.
“Zain Pay” is a Direct Operator Billing mobile payment solution that will enable Zain’s customers to pay for digital goods and services from a third-party content or service provider by charging the transaction to their mobile phone monthly bill or using their pre-paid credit.
Nadia Al Saif, Zain Kuwait’s Value Added Service Director said,
“The launch of this direct payment channel in partnership with SLA Mobile, will allow our customers to use a simple mobile payment solution that can be trusted. Our customers can pay for their purchases from a variety of selected merchants directly via their mobile phone with ease and peace of mind.”

SLA Mobile previously signed an agreement with Zain Group to provide Direct Operator Billing to all of Zain’s operations and they are working, in partnership with the remaining operators in the Group, to rollout “Zain Pay” across the region over the remainder of this year.
