SLA Mobile Signs Agreement with Axiata Group

SLA Mobile, a global mobile solutions provider has partnered with Axiata Group Berhad (Axiata); one of Asia’s largest telecommunications companies, to manage the Axiata Digital Services (ADS) Mobile Internet Fulfilment Exchange (MIFE).
Axiata’s MIFE Hub will act as an exchange for brokering Telco API’s and providing secure access to Telco assets. The hub’s customers will be offered access to a range of services that will give them the ability to create innovative Digital Service offerings for consumption by their subscribers.
The Hub is a fully automated, flexible“smart bridge”, designed to accelerate partnership and integration with 3rd party developers, internet service providers, advertisers and other mobile operators. SLA Mobile also worked with Axiata Digital Services to standardise internal processes with the aim of reducing opportunity costs for all concerned.
In addition Axiata’s mobile operators will have the ability to leverage the services exposed via their own API gateways allowing them to create their own new services using the same APIs. The MIFE Hub offers an initial set of core APIs that will evolve over time to include data enriched value added services, enabling more integrated partner relationships.
